We all aspire to be good listeners. It is a meaningful expression of care. In group discussions, we train to hear what is in our hearts, the hearts of others, what is being communicated, and experience what it means to be heard.
This is primarily a listening exercise.
Speaking is voluntary.
When speaking, we do not respond to anything anyone has said.
We address the group.
We speak from the heart.
We express how we feel.
We speak from personal experience.
We do not advise anyone.
We do not quote texts.
Afterwards, we do not discuss what someone talked about in group - unless the speaker initiates it.
